This article will show you how to use the Custom Zones feature in Canibuild to manage design availability and pricing based on geographic location.
Custom Zones allow you to set pricing or limit design availability by state, region, or area code. This ensures that only eligible designs can be placed in specific regions and that pricing can be tailored based on local conditions or supplier costs.
This is useful for sales teams working across different areas where prices vary or specific designs are limited to certain locations.
- To access the Admin section Click on your initials on the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Admin from the dropdown menu.
- Select Custom Zones.
Creating a Custom Zone
- Click Create New Zone.
- Enter a Zone Name.
- Select a Coverage Area.
- Use the interactive map to define the Custom Zone by clicking on the relevant areas.
Based on the specific area or region of the custom zone, you can choose from a variety of options tailored to your global location.
- Click Create when complete.
Setting a Custom Zone
- Select Design Catalogue.
- Hover over a design & click the three dots next to the price.

Zone Mapping
This option locks a design to a specific zone to prevent it from being used outside that area. This is useful if some of the design range is not available in all regions.
- Select the zone under Zone Mapping.
- Choose the zones associated with that design.
Pricing Structure
This allows an alternate price to be applied for different zones, ideal for regional cost variations. This is useful if a design is built in a different region that may have different suppliers or materials need to be transported to that location causing additional costs.
- Select the zone under Pricing Structure.
- Enter an alternate price for that zone.
- Click the Green Tick to save.
