How to Search for an Address

This article explains how to search for a parcel or lot using the Search Address bar, locate previous searches in MyHub & use alternative methods to identify the correct site address.

Each unique property that is searched will use one lookup. This means it’s important to ensure that the information entered is accurate. Cross-check the address in Google for correct spelling, intersecting streets, or even neighbouring suburbs.

Search for a registered Address

When entering an address, make sure it matches the auto-complete suggestions that appear below the search bar. If there isn’t an exact match, try entering the address into Google to check for spelling errors, corner lot alternatives, or bordering suburb or county variations.

  • Click the Search Address bar.

Once you’ve searched a few addresses, this becomes a quick-access list to revisit your last three searches.

  • Enter the street number & name.
  • Click the correct match from the auto-generated list.

You can copy and paste an address sent by a client directly into the search bar. However, if it’s not recognised, use Google to identify potential spelling issues or formatting differences.

Unregistered Address / Lots (Subdivisions, Estates or Communities)

The best way to locate an unregistered lot or if you don’t have an exact address, is to use the Estates / Communities search option. This allows you to find a new subdivision or zoom in on a map & identify a property using the lot number.

  • Click Estates to search for unregistered lots.

    • Click Estates to return home.
    • Enter an Estate Name in the search bar.

    • Click the Filter Icon.
    • Zoom in on the map.
    • Toggle to reduce results within the map view.
    • Click orange dots to access an estate.

To locate the estate, you can either enter its name or specific location, or hover over any orange dot to preview the estate name. This is also a good way to check if the estate has been uploaded and which stages are currently available.

    • Enter a location or estate name.
    • Click on the correct subdivision.
    • Hover over a parcel to view the lot details.
    • Click on the lot to begin working on the site.

If a new subdivision or stage update becomes available in your region, submit a request via the Help Centre & our team will ensure it is updated. This can be done by any team member.

Search by Coordinates (Latitude & Longitude)

The most accurate way to locate a property is by using its coordinates. Enter the known address into Google Maps to retrieve the latitude & longitude, then input these into the address bar. This method does not use a lookup—it simply navigates to the map location.

    • Search for the address in Google Maps.
    • Right-click on the red pin.
    • Click on the latitude & longitude to copy them.

    • Paste the coordinates into the search bar (include a comma & space between them)
    • Press Enter.

    • Switch to satellite imagery.
    • Hover over the parcel to view lot details.
    • Right-click & select Search this address.

Lot ID Number (DP or APN)

To ensure the address is 100% correct, you can search using the Lot ID. For Australia & New Zealand, use the DPID; for the United States, use the APN. This can be entered directly into the search bar or used to verify the address in the site info panel.

    • Locate the site’s DPID (AU/NZ) or APN (US).
    • Copy the ID into the search bar.
    • Press Enter.
