This article will show you how to create and manage multiple Deals or Versions for the same address. These can be alternative layouts or scenarios. You can create separate deals for different clients, build types or various design options.
Deals allow you to create completely separate property layouts for the same address. These layouts may differ based on the client, build type, or other major project variables.
Deals can be deleted but not copied.
- Click Deals.
- Click Create New Deal.
- Click the 3 Dots to View Deal or Delete.
- Click Add Tag to attach a short note or label to the deal.
Adding a Tag to a deal is a good way to identify it in the dashboard. This can be the name of the design that has been placed or another identifying note.
Versions allow you to create variations within a single deal. These may reflect different design positions, construction materials, or layout modifications to suit the client's preferences.
These are an archive of all the changes you have made to an address. They can be copied but not deleted.
- Click Version dropdown.
-
Click Create New to start a blank version.
-
Click Save & Copy to duplicate the current version for editing.
-
Select an existing version to switch between options.
Use Versions to compare surface finishes (e.g. decking vs paving), reposition builds, or explore alternate designs for the same client.
Although Stages can be named freely, a general structure is recommended:
-
Draft – Initial design placement and planning stage.
-
Lead – Design confirmed with the client, preparing the contract.
-
Opportunity – Contract signed and deposit received.
You can use these labels to track project progress or collaborate across teams.
