How do I Troubleshoot Documents not Generating

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to access your site plans, flyers, proposals or quotes if they seem to not be downloading.

You can easily check the status of all your documents in the Docs section. All documents are organized in the Orders section of the dashboard, ensuring that any team member can access them whenever needed.

  • Click Generate.
  • Select your document to order.
  • Click Docs to check the status of any document.

In most cases, documents will automatically download. However, if they do not, this section is the ideal place to verify their status. If the document shows a status of "ready," you have the option to download it manually.

  • Click the grey circle to select the document.
  • Click the Share Icon.
  • Select Download.

  • Click the Dashboard Icon to access Orders.

  • Select the Orders tab.

  • Search or Scroll to find the address.
  • Click on the address to expand the documents.
  • Click the Blue link of the document to download.

If, after reviewing both the Docs and Orders sections, your document status remains as "processing," you may want to check for any other documents that might also be experiencing delays. To resolve potential issues, it is advisable to clear your browser's cache history and reload the page before attempting to order the document again.

Clear Cache History & Reload (PC)

  • Click  the three-dotted icon on the top right of the internet browser.

  • Select Delete Browsing Data.

  • Select Time Range (All Time)
  • Select Cached images and files.
  • Click Delete Data

Clear Cache History & Reload (Mac)

  • Click  the three dots on the top right of the internet browser.

  • Scroll down and click on More Tools.

  • Select Developer Tools.

  • Select Application.

  • Select Storage.

  • Click on Clear Site Data.

  • Right-click on the reload button & select Empty cache and hard reload.
  •  Reorder the document as before.

Creating an alternate draft

In some instances, a draft may become corrupted, which can hinder the downloading process of your document. To resolve this issue, you can create a new draft, which often helps to rectify the problem.

  • Click the Deals Icon (Filing Cabinet)
  • Click the three dots.
  • Select Copy.
OR
  • Select New Draft.

Creating a Copy will retain all the elements you have already added to the site. In contrast, a New Draft will start off as a blank canvas, requiring you to readd your design elements.
