This article will show the various methods that can be used to identify the correct parcel.
Each unique property that is searched will use up one look up. This means its important that even things like the correct spelling are correct when looking up a new address.
Search Address
When entering an address make sure it matches the auto complete that populates below the search bar. If there isn't an exact match try putting the address into a google search to see if there's a spelling mistake, an alternate due to a corner lot or a bordering suburb or county.
Unregistered Lots (New Subdivisions)
The best way to locate an unregistered lot is to use the show Estates/Communities search option. This allows you to find the new subdivision and identify the property by the lot number.
Search by Coordinates (Latitude & Longitude)
The safest way to find a property is by the coordinates. Using "https://www.latlong.net/" enter the known address & it will provide the latitude & longitude these can be inputted into the address bar. This does not use a up one of your look ups as it just takes you to the map coordinates.
Lot ID Number
To make sure that the address is 100% correct you can search by the Lot ID this is the DPID for AU & NZ or the APN for the US. This ID can be entered into the address bar as well or just cross checked in the site info on the property.
